Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing go hand in hand. The principles behind Six Sigma are designed to improve any type of business – large or small, retail or industrial. Six Sigma was developed by Motorola in the early 1990s and has since become one of the fastest growing strategies in the business planning world. With over two decades of solid experience, six sigma certification is now recognized by most companies as a comprehensive level of training in business processes improvement. Lean manufacturing, which was originally developed for manufacturing, is becoming more widely accepted as a management strategy for businesses of all sizes. If your company is looking to implement lean, you need to make sure that you properly implement Six Sigma into your business processes.

Six Sigma training teaches employees how to take these important steps by providing clear defined goals, well developed work procedures, and excellent control mechanisms. Employees are taught how to improve productivity, reduce waste, and allow profits to increase while costs remain constant.
