Malaysia Offers Six Sigma Certification

Malaysia is proud to be the first Asian country to take my Six Sigma certification. The reason for this is because of the incredible growth that the Six Sigma process has seen in other Asian countries, especially Malaysia. Malaysia is already the second-largest consumer of Six Sigma products, after the United States. It has made itself at home in the growing global economy. In fact, the number of companies using Six Sigma practices has increased in Malaysia and it has created more employees who are fully trained. That is why Malaysia has taken my Six Sigma Certification.

In doing so, Malaysia has maximized on its potential as a company that can offer training and development opportunities. Its government has also made available resources, such as the Structured Quality Management Improvement Program (SQM II) and the Quality Review System (RPS), which are designed to bolster company quality management. Through these efforts, Malaysia is poised to become one of the best places in the world to take Six Sigma certifications.

In Malaysia, there is only one TQM II compliant organization, which is the Malaysian Institute of Certification of Qualification and Research (MIMS) – a system that testing employees on specific area of Six Sigma training. If you want to be a certified Six Sigma worker in Malaysia, you will need to register with MIMS first. However, the government has taken measures recently to strengthen the exam system and make it harder for unaccredited candidates to take the exam. Now, all Six Sigma certification applications will require an application fee from the applicant. This includes the training and development courses that come with the certification.

Another step is to improve the quality of the certification process itself. Currently, there are two levels of certification for those wishing to take my six sigma certification. There is the Full Level Six Sigma, which is a more extensive course of study than the standard level certification. The Full Level Six Sigma course covers areas such as project management, quality improvement, statistical analysis, interaction design, and others. The second level of certification is generally recognized by employers as being equivalent to the Full Level Six Sigma. At present, there is no provision for certification at the higher level.

The training involved in obtaining either the Full or the Second Level Six Sigma certification typically lasts from three to six months. During the study period, students will be taught the basics of statistical methodologies, the tools and techniques of statistical analysis, problem solving methods, data cleansing, and the core concepts of six sigma project management. Trainees also receive extensive training on subjects such as best practices for project scheduling, cost estimation, quality management, process improvement, and other management topics. The second half of the six sigma certification training course involves application of the concepts learned during the first half of the course to real projects. Students will be required to apply the statistical methodologies they were taught using real projects.

After receiving their six sigma certification, Malaysian employees can expect to find opportunities in different government organizations, industries, and consultancy firms. There are a number of organizations that offer six sigma certification as a prerequisite for employment in these fields. A company offering six sigma certification Malaysia certifications may also require potential candidates to take an exam on the training and methodology of six sigma. Candidates who successfully complete the exam may then apply for a job in one of these fields.

Malaysia’s six sigma certification program provides candidates with a comprehensive knowledge of the statistical methodologies used in six sigma projects. The program also reviews concepts in the scientific and technical literature that pertain to six sigma projects. It also covers management issues, including issues related to human resources, payroll, appraisal, budgeting, as well as legal issues. These issues are studied under the assumption that they may not come up during actual project implementation. Employees who successfully complete this certification will be prepared to pass the certification test given by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the United States Institute of Certified Executives (IECE). This test is considered one of the most difficult of all six sigma certifications.

Malaysia’s six sigma certification program helps individuals improve the quality of their work. Its main goal is to ensure quality and productivity of its companies while saving costs of production and profitability. For this reason, Malaysia’s six sigma certification is closely aligned with ISO standards. Passing the certification test demonstrates a commitment to continuous improvement and dedication to improving the quality of its companies.
