If you are planning to join the ranks of Six Sigma Certified personnel, then you must know and understand the different Six Sigma Certification Levels that is available. Each level will specialize in a specific method or technique. So, if you want to become a Six Sigma Black Belt, then you would study, learn, and complete Six Sigma Black Belt training under someone who has already completed the Black Belt course. If you want to become a Green Belt, you would study, learn, and complete Six Sigma Green Belt training under someone who is green belt certified.

There are several other Six Sigma Levels that is offered. The most basic level is the Black Belt certification. In this level, you can expect to take your Six Sigma Black Belt training from professors who are already Six Sigma experts.

Once you have completed the Six Sigma Green Belt certification, then you can start applying your knowledge and skills to the process that you study. You will need to take further training to become a Six Sigma Certified Master Green Belt. A lot of Black Belts and Green Belts have found Six Sigma to be an excellent process for improving employee productivity and profitability. However, the Black Belt certification is the first step and there are actually more advanced levels of Six Sigma Certification.

Once you have your Six Sigma certification, you will find there are several companies that hire Six Sigma professionals for a variety of job functions within the company. Some of the positions that Six Sigma candidates find most popular include: project managers, quality management analyst, and Six Sigma analysts. If you are not sure about a particular job position, you should research it a little bit more before making any decisions. As previously stated, there are numerous Six Sigma Black Belts and Green Belts who work at different companies. Some of the companies that offer six sigma certification training programs include Black Belt Training, Green Belt Training, and Master Black Belt, and there are several training courses that can be taken online.

While you are in training for your Six Sigma certification, there will be instances where you will be called on to evaluate a particular process within the company. When you are evaluating processes that you will be training, remember that you are a Six Sigma Black Belt, so you will be expected to be able to spot problems or inconsistencies in the process and give good suggestions for improvements. Even if you think that you understand a particular concept, you might find that there is something else that needs to be known about that concept. You should always take notes during your training so that you can refer back to them when you are reviewing processes or ideas.

The Six Sigma Green Belt certification level is usually the first step towards Six Sigma certifications. During your Six Sigma Green Belt training, you will learn all of the core concepts and training that you will need to understand the material. At the end of your training, you will be given a Six Sigma Green Belt certification, which is the highest level of certification in Six Sigma. You will be able to take Six Sigma Green Belt exams that will measure your knowledge on the material. This is the level that most companies will be requiring when they hire employees to take their Six Sigma Green Belt training and exams.

The Six Sigma Black Belt certification is the next level up from the Six Sigma Green Belt and is achieved by taking black belt courses and going through black belt training and exams. At the six-pack level of Six Sigma, Black Belts will need to take five core courses, including Project Approach, Dataflow, Unified Process, and Analytic Design. The Black Belts will also need to take two electives, including Discrete Mathematics and Software Testing.

After becoming a Six Sigma Black Belt, you will move into the green belt stage and be eligible for a certificate. At this point, you will likely have completed the requirements for the six-pack Six Sigma training, but you can always continue to take additional Six Sigma Green Belt classes if you feel you are ready for another step. There is no specific time line as to when you will achieve your certification, though it does take at least twelve months of full-time employment with a company of your choosing to receive your Six Sigma Green Belt certification. Once you are Six Sigma Certified, you will be able to take an exam that will certify you for a particular job role in a particular company. Six Sigma Certification Levels will vary from company to company, so be sure to check with your company’s employees before you take your Six Sigma Green Belt certification exam.
