Six Sigma is the most important quality in a Six Sigma candidate, and everyone understands this. This quality is what separates the achievers from those who failed, and it is what separates the “winners” from those who are working hard but not producing the results they want or that are expected. Six Sigma is designed to improve any process, and one of the areas that have been improved the most is with the Kaizen strategy for improvement. kaizen is a Japanese word that means change and improvement, and is related to the concept of continual improvement. It pertains to continuous improvement in any activity or project and has been used in many different business activities over the years.

When someone is certified Six Sigma Black Belt, they have taken their knowledge and skills and applied them to improving a process in any type of company, from a small corporation to a large government agency. Once certification is received, it demonstrates to the customer that you understand and follow the Six Sigma Process, and that you care about the quality of the end result. The process works because every step is linked together with each other, and there must be an overall effort to make sure that the entire project is followed through flawlessly from start to finish. If that is not the case, then that means that the Six Sigma Green Belt has failed in their attempt to complete the process.

The process improvement associated with kaizen is vital to the success of any business or organization, and it must always be incorporated with Six Sigma. Kaizen is a natural extension of Six Sigma and works well when there is already a Black Belt involved.
